Seldia is looking for a new colleague to join our small and dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a broad range of administrative and membership support related tasks, including events organisation. The person will be responsible for the administrative management of the association and ensuring an outstanding level of service to members throughout the year.

The Office and Membership Manager will work under the supervision of the Executive Director, and will collaborate with the EU Affairs Manager.

The Office and Membership Manager will be responsible for

  • Ensuring daily bookkeeping, invoices and payments in liaison with our accountants
  • Maintaining the members’ contact lists up to date and managing the access to our Extranet
  • Ensuring the office maintenance and liaising with providers
  • Organising logistics of the association’s meetings and drafting meetings minutes
  • Keeping regular contact with members about their ongoing activities, and developing the content for our internal newsletter
  • Answering administrative and practical questions from members or suppliers, and/or conducting information gathering exercises among our membership
  • Managing membership related projects with the Executive Director (Seldia Astra Awards, member association capacity building and training etc)

Candidates for the position should

  • Be fluent in English (written and spoken). French desirable. Other languages an asset.
  • Have a very good knowledge of MS Office. Winbooks and Mailchimp are a plus.
  • Have very good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Have the proactive and polyvalent disposition, necessary in a small team and be sensitive to cultural differences across our membership.
